Born in the picturesque state of Virginia, Karen Denger's journey through life has been marked by resilience, determination, and a deep passion for both family and entrepreneurship. In 1989, she relocated to Iowa, a move that would eventually lay the foundation for her successful career as the owner of Tower Promotional Products.

Growing up as an only child, Karen learned the value of creativity and independence from an early age. She attended Carlisle High School and graduated in 1995, setting the stage for her future academic and professional achievements. In 1998, she earned her degree in Business from Drake University, a testament to her dedication and commitment to education.

In the same year she graduated, Karen married her partner in life and love. Her professional journey began at Principal Financial Group, where she worked diligently from 1999 to 2001, showcasing her expertise and determination in the corporate world.

Entrepreneurial Spirit

Family has always been at the core of Karen's identity. Blessed with two children, Mikeely and Jack, she embraced the challenges and joys of motherhood while pursuing her professional ambitions. After a brief stint as a preschool teacher from 2006 to 2009, Karen decided to further her education. In 2011, she earned her Associate degree in Nursing from Mercy College of Health Sciences, becoming a Registered Nurse.

Karen dedicated nearly a decade of her life to Mercy Clinics, where she served her community with compassion and dedication. Tragedy struck in 2014 when she became a widow, facing the challenges of single parenthood with immense strength and resilience.

Driven by her entrepreneurial spirit, Karen ventured into the business world once again in June 2021 when she founded Magical Memories Supply Company. This venture allowed her to channel her love for travel, Disney, and scrapbooking into a business, creating a haven for fellow enthusiasts who enjoy unique crafts. In 2023, she expanded her business to include promotional products, founding Tower Promotional Products, a testament to her adaptability and vision.

CREATIVITY & INSPIRATION

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Karen finds solace and joy in her hobbies. She is an avid traveler, exploring the world and embracing diverse cultures. Her love for Disney transcends mere fandom; it’s a passion that fuels her creativity and inspires her business ventures. Karen is also a dedicated scrapbooker, having completed over 80 albums, each one a testament to her love for preserving memories.

In addition to her creative pursuits, Karen is a sports enthusiast, especially when it comes to college and professional football games. Her love for speed and adventure is embodied in her cherished Camaro, a symbol of her zest for life.
